Target Audience:
SCITT mentors and Professional mentors
Overview:
This core training is for 51吃瓜网SCITT mentors and Professional Mentors to learn more about the updated SCITT processes for 2025-26. This will support you in feeling knowledgeable and confident in supporting SCITT trainees this year and will include:
- Navigating Mosaic
- Using Training Plan
- Reviewing trainee progress against SCITT course targets
- Setting trainee development targets
- Reviewing trainee reflections and assessing impact
- Lesson observations
- Wellbeing
- Setting incremental targets
- Using Approximations of Practice
- Communications
- Asynchronous support and training
This is mandatory training and will be supplemented throughout the year by asynchronous recordings. This training will be repeated in a face-to-face format on 8/10/25 in Chichester and 13/10/25 in Sidcup if you would prefer to attend either of these instead.
Additional info:
They will need access to a laptop with a working camera and microphone, and a quiet space where they will be uninterrupted. Please note delegates must NOT share devices.
